Q-Inspect
Q-Inspect is a general purpose user interface developed by VistaLink. It typical supports vision applications for product quality inspection such as sealing, labeling, overprint, stains and scratches, component presence control and product dimension inspection such as tolerance measurements. With the Industrial design Q-Inspect is built for effective operation and control of the machine from the human end. Through the Q-Inspect main functionalities we can display vision inspection results, modify parameters & tolerances, perform user management and recipe management, open TCP communication towards external equipment and implement audit trail to keep track of changes to the major configuration settings.
Q-Code
The main goal of Q-Code is to offer inline camera inspection and an operator interface to control the inspection process. The HMI consists of a camera configuration interface. Q-Code is targeted towards Optical Character Verification/Reading (OCV/OCR) and code verification (1D barcode, 2D codes), but it also supports other tasks, such as presence detection, measurements…
Q-Code modules includes: User management, Font management, Recipe management, Dedicated PLC communication for system integration, Open TCP communication towards external equipment, Audit trail, keeping track of changes to the major configuration settings.
Q-Check
Q-Check is a Windows® interface enabling users to control Insight Camera inspection systems. The main purpose of this software is to setup and display results in an easy to use environment. The user has the ability to enter reference data for the connected camera systems and therefore, typical Q-Check camera applications are: Identification (1D and 2D barcodes) and Overprint verification (OCV and OCR). However, virtually every type of inspection (dimension control, surface inspection…) can be monitored and maintained using Q-Check. The main functions: Display vision inspection results, Setup parameters, User management, Audit trail, keeping track of changes of all critical settings.
Our company implemented a 100% inspection system in collaboration with VistaLink to detect and prevent defects at customer level and to meet their quality standards. The system was able to check parts quality with more than 15 quality criteria on a total production of 275 Million units per year. Despite the complexity of the project itself, the system was successfully implemented in more than 20 manufacturing lines and the quality delivered to our customers increased enormously. It helped us to prevent defects and to improve our process.
